The Valkyries are an all women dragon boat team started by Coach Val under the Seattle Flying Dragons mixed dragon boat club. This women’s team is strong, competitive and consists of a group of unique and spirited individuals of varying ages.
The Valkyries are an all women dragon boat team started by Coach Val under the Seattle Flying Dragons mixed dragon boat club. This women’s team is strong, competitive and consists of a group of unique and spirited individuals of varying ages.
The ‘V’ in the middle of the logo for Valkyries represents wings but also the ripple the front of the boat makes when it is flying in the water powered by 20 strong women.
The font chosen stays on brand with the Seattle Flying Dragons and delivers a sporty edge to compliment the feminine and natural shape of the ‘V’.
The goal was to give the race jerseys a professional polished look and to give the appearance of a fast, unique women’s dragon boat paddling team.
